 Baldwin Beach is beautiful, a great beach for going for a run or for walking with the family.. Morning or evening are generally the best times to go because the trade winds have a tendency to come up in the afternoon. There is plenty of space to spread out and find your own spot if you want to. Weather and currents have created a steep embankment a length of the beach, making it difficult for small children to play, even toward baby beach.  It can be a refuge on a hot day as the north shore is just windier - so it has the reputation for being such a great windsurfing spot.
