Driving on the road to Hana, one rounds the bend and tucked into the side of the hill is this quiet, softly hissing falls which feeds breadfruit trees beneath.
As with most waterfalls in Maui, rain feeds it so its flow is highly dependent on how much time has passed since the last episode of significant rain. This waterfall can have a disappointingly low flow towards the late summer, and how quickly the falls can diminish that time of year just two days after heavy rains have revived it .
