On a rainy day, the sun breaks through to illuminate the center of the field of pineapples 2100 feet above sea level,approximately two miles southeast of  Makawao. Olinda is also local to some of the most spectacular trails, vistas, orchid farms, and breathtaking views of Maui’s North Shore. Going towards the Piiholo State Park, immediately upon entering these trails you’ll be enveloped in rows of Eucalyptus and young Redwood trees, and all of your worries will dissipate as you become one with the spirit of MAUI.
